just alittle help

One-to-one adult ADHD coaching

Everyday life.A little more doable.

Practical support with planning, getting started and following through. We work on something that matters to you, then try approaches that fit your life.

For adults 18+ · Google Meet · online across Australia

This week, a little simpler.
One thing that matters.
A first step you can start.
Room to try, review, adjust.

A plan that fits you.
And a person to think it through with.

Make it specific.
Make it useful to you.

These are illustrative examples of things we could work on together. Your priorities lead the conversation.

01 / Planning & prioritising

“Everything feels
equally urgent.”

Your task list keeps growing. Work, life admin and home responsibilities all compete for the same attention.

What we could do together

Put your real commitments in view. Separate deadlines from things that feel urgent, choose a priority and check how much room your week actually has.

Something we could buildA short weekly plan with a first action, space for interruptions and a time to review it.

Next time, we look at what got in the way and change the plan around that.

02 / Getting started

“I know what to do.
I just can’t start.”

That document, email or admin task follows you around all week. The longer it sits, the harder it feels to open.

What we could do together

Explore what makes starting difficult: an unclear task, too many decisions or a first step that’s still too big. Then define an action you can actually begin.

Something we could buildReplace “finish the report” with “open the document and write three rough bullet points”, then choose when and where to try it.

We review whether the starting point helped, rather than treating it as a test you passed or failed.

03 / Routines & accountability

“It works for three days.
Then I lose it.”

You find a new system, give it a go and fall away from it when the week gets busy. Starting again becomes another job.

What we could do together

Keep what was useful and look at where the routine became difficult. We might simplify it, add a reminder you notice or create a way to restart after an interruption.

Something we could buildA smaller routine, a visible cue and a simple check-in that helps you notice what is happening.

The aim is a workable approach you can return to, with support while you develop it.

How a session works

A conversation.
With something to work on.

You bring your experience of your life. I bring questions, practical thinking and support to help you try something different.

  1. 01

    Choose one real thing.

Start with something happening in your week. You don’t need a polished goal or a perfectly organised list.

  2. 02

    Work through it together.

Explore what’s difficult, what you’ve already tried and what matters to you. Make a strategy specific enough to try.

  3. 03

    Try it. Then adjust.

Take one agreed action into your week. If we meet again, we review what helped and adapt what didn’t.

Ben, the person you’ll speak with
Watch my introduction 1:28

I’m Ben.

I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. Before that, I built a career as a company executive, with a background in capability development for global workforces.

Helping people develop skills and put them into practice has been central to that work. I’ve also had to find ways of working with my own difficulties, including the ones I didn’t yet recognise as ADHD.

This brings together that professional experience and something I’ve lived myself. We can work on what specifically helps you, rather than adding another list of generic tips.

More about my background

Before we talk.

Do I need a formal diagnosis?

No. This is practical coaching for adults, including people exploring ADHD or waiting for an assessment. Coaching does not assess or confirm an ADHD diagnosis.

Is this therapy or clinical care?

No. We focus on practical skills, routines and everyday actions. I don’t provide psychological therapy, counselling, diagnosis, treatment or medication advice. Coaching doesn’t replace support from your healthcare professional.

What if I don’t know what I want to work on?

That’s fine. We can start with something that keeps becoming difficult in your week. Part of the conversation can be working out which small change would be worth trying first.

How often would we meet?

Sessions are 60 minutes, weekly or fortnightly depending on your goals and what fits your life. We would agree the pace together and review whether it is useful.

What is included in the $99 session?

A 60-minute online session with Ben, focused on your priorities, and a short written recap of the next step we agree. Coaching is pay per session, with no package required.

Can the free chat help with assessment steps?

Yes. I volunteer the free chat to help adults find their next step, whether or not they are interested in coaching. We can talk through general assessment steps, questions to ask providers and finding ongoing support. I share general information and personal experience; I don’t provide testing, diagnosis or medical advice.

Do I have to explain everything in a form?

No. The request form only needs your email and permission to contact you. I’ll reply to arrange a time. There’s no need to send medical records or your life story.

Is coaching online or in person?

Coaching sessions are online using Google Meet, for adults across Australia. If you’re in Geelong, the Surf Coast or Bellarine and prefer to meet in person, we can discuss what might be possible.

What would you like
a little help with?

The free chat is volunteer support. You can ask about coaching, but there’s no expectation of booking it.
